REVIEW: Veet Hair Removal Cream

Hey beauties!

A week ago, I came across a product by Veet called Veet Spray On Hair Removal Cream. This is my first time using a product from this brand so I was very excited to try it out. I was impress by this product because of how easy and fast it took to remove hair on your arms and legs. All you had to do was spray the cream on your arm, leave the cream on for several minutes, remove it, and you should have amazing results. However, after trying this product out, I was extremely disappointed and I will never use any product from this specific brand again.

I used this product the night before my prom. I followed exactly what the instructions told me to do. I sprayed the cream onto my arms and left it for a few minutes, after I noticed that it started burning my skin, I washed it off immediately and I only had it on for less than 5 minutes. My skin started to become very irritated, it was very red, and I had a lot of red holes in my arms. At first, I thought nothing of it, I thought it was just how the product worked. After a few hours, I realized that the holes in my arms were small burns that have occurred from using the cream. My whole arm did not look flattering at all and I had to use concealer to coverup all the holes in my arms because it was the night of prom and I had no choice.

This picture is not mine, I  found it off google and this is exactly what my arms looked like after using this product. Disgusting right?

I was very upset the next day because it got worst and I had to wear cardigans to hide the burn holes in my arms. I did not even have this product on for 5 minutes and it burned my skin very bad. I do not recommend this product for anyone! It's been a week since I've had these burn holes and they are still healing. My arms have gotten so much better though, but it was such a long process.

If you have experience this or you are experiencing this, you need to make an appointment with your doctors. Do not bother buying over the counter creams to try and heal the burn holes because it's a
waste of money, it doesn't work. Your doctors will prescribe you with the right cream and after a week, it should be better. You will be left with a few scars but I've been using Aloe Vera Gel and it has been very helpful in terms of lightening the scars from the burn. If you guys have experience this, leave a comment below and share your experience with me!

This is the Aloe Vera Gel I've been using to soothe  my arm and to lighten  the scars left behind.

I hope you guys find this review very helpful and don't forget to leave a comment below and tell me what you want my next blog post to be about. Have a fantastic day!

I'm BACK!!!

Hey guys!

Surprise, I'm back and ready to blog! I know it's been a while since I've posted up a blog and I do apologize for that. As you all know, this is my last year in high school and lately I've been putting all my time and energy into my school work. Not only that but I've also been caught up in working and trying really hard to save money. I haven't really had time for myself and now that summer break is around the corner, I can finally take a break from school and really invest my time into my blog!

I'm so excited to blog again! I have so many ideas to share with you guys and if you guys have any request, leave a comment below! Maybelline Colour Sensational The Buffs Lipstick Review, Photos and Swatches

Hi guys!

I finally got the chance to go to the drugstore the other day to pick up some lipsticks from the Maybelline Colour Sensational The Buffs Lipstick collection. I was very excited for this particular collection because all of the colours from the collection is very neutral and wearable.

Maybelline Colour Sensational The Buffs Lipstick retails in store for $7.49 and I picked up three colours from the collection at my local drugstore because most of the colours that I wanted was out of stock.

I love the consistency of this product because it is very creamy and glides on effortlessly. I also love the colours from this collection because it's neutral and it's a lipstick you can wear everyday so if you are looking for a lipstick that is wearable on a daily basis, I suggest this particular lipstick. The smell of this lipstick is not that bad either, it has a very sweet scent, it almost reminds me of the scent of MAC lipsticks. Also, this is not a long wear lipstick, if you eat, it's going to come off so don't expect it to last long. Overall, I think this lipstick is worth its value and I want to buy more from shades this collection when they have it in stock again.

The three colours I picked up are:

Blushing Beige #915

Stormy Sahara #945

Maple Kiss #925

Makeup Reorganization Tips!

Hi guys!

Today was a very productive Sunday! I finally got around to reorganizing some of my makeup because it's been just a mess lately. I was throwing away some of the makeup products I no longer use and believe or not, I came across many expired products!!

It's good to go through your makeup collection every now and then, throw away products you do not use and also check the expiry dates of your makeup products. Expired makeup can cause break outs, rashes  and just simply irritate the skin.

For years now, I was convinced I was allergic to baby lotion until I recently watch one of DulceCandy87's vlogs and she had the same experience with the lotion she was using. Whenever I would use it, my face would get bumpy, itchy and red and I didn't know why. However, I finally discovered that the baby lotion was expired because the lotion DulceCandy87 was using was expired!! It's funny because that never cross my mind before. This is one of the reasons you need to go through your makeup collection so that you don't damage your skin, it's time consuming but it's well worth it in the end.

I also used expired liquid eyeliner before because when I started using makeup I didn't know makeup products had an expiry date. I thought you could use it for a long time but of course, you can't. Using expired liquid eyeliner is no fun!! My eyelids literally blew up and it looked like I got punch in the eye due to the redness and the puffiness of my eyes. It was extremely itchy to the point where I had to get a prescribe cream from my family doctors to cure it.

Anywho, here are a few pictures  of how I reorganize some of the makeup products from my makeup collection.

The first draw consists of primer, foundation, concealer, eye primer, eyelash glue and eyebrow pencil. These are someone the makeup products that I want to use up because they're reaching their expiry date soon and I do not want then to go to waste.

The second drawer consists of eyeshadows, blush, bronzes and eyeshadow palettes. These are some of the the makeup products I don't normally use but I don't want it to go to waste so I put away my recently purchase makeup so that I can use all of these makeup products up and not let it reach it's expiry date. (Don't worry, the Urban Decay Palette is not apart of the products I don't normally use, it's actually my go to palette so I still have it out.)

The last drawer consists some of the lip products I use every now and then. I want to use all of these lip products up before I add my new ones.

Many products do not come with expiry date so I did a few research of my own and found out the lifetime of some makeup products. I hope this information helps you out when you are going through your makeup collection so you do not end up with expired makeup on your face like I did.

The lifetime of some makeup products:

Foundation
Water-based foundation: 12 month
Oil-based foundation: 18 months.
Powder foundation: up to 2 years
Concealer: up to 12 months
Eyeshadow
Powder E/S: up to 3 years
Cream E/S: up to 16 months
Eyeliner:
Liquid E/L: up to 3 months
Pencil E/L: up to 2  years
Blush/Bronzer
Powder Blush/Bronzer: up to 3 years
Cream Blush: up to 18 months
Lip Products
Pencil L/L: up to 2 years
Cream L/L: up to 14 months
Lipstick: up to 2 years
Lipgloss: up to 14 months
Mascara
Up to 3 months

It's not just makeup products but it's also your brushes that needs to be clean too!! If you do not clean your makeup brushes, bacteria will begin to build up because all the product that is on the brush is
continuously building up as you use it everyday on your face. If you do not wash your makeup brushes frequently, it will causes many breakouts due to bacteria that is building in the brushes.

If you are beginning to do freelance makeup, here's a few tips you should take into consideration. You should wash your brushes the day before you go and do freelance makeup on a client because you do not want to use dirty makeup brushes on your clients. I'm sure your clients will not appreciate the breakouts from the dirty brushes. Keep them clean and sanitize as possible!!!

Tips on how to clean your makeup brushes:
- Brushes must be wash every 2-3 months with anti-bacterial soap along with olive oil that is use to condition the bristles of the brush.
- Sponges must be wash weekly and discard monthly.
- Store your makeup in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight
- Disinfect your makeup with Beauty So Clean (in love with these products)
- Use a spatula to scoop out products instead of using your brush or finger
- Make sure all product’s lids, tops and caps are kept closed tightly

Bath and Body Works Semi Annual Haul!

Hi guys!

Guess what?! I finally film my Bath and Body Works Semi Annual haul and it's up live on my Youtube Channel (beuatybylisatxo). The lighting as of right now is kind of awful right now because I'm still playing around with the lighting and trying to find out where is the best place to film in my house so please bare with me for now until I get it all set up. Any who, I hope you guys enjoy my haul and I look forward on making more beauty related videos for you guys.

I wanted to share photos of the items I got from Bath and Body Works just in case you guys want to know the name or the pricing of these items.

The Bath and Body Works Anti-Bacterial Hand Soaps are $3 for one or 10 for $25.

The Bath and Body Works Hand Sanitizers are 50 cent each.

The travel size hand lotion are 3 for $15 and I do not remember the price of the big size lotion of the Warm Vanilla Sugar.

I also forgot how much I got these perfume bottles for but I believe they were around $5.

Honestly guys, you should take advantage of this sale because you save a lot of money. Bath and Body works can be very pricy as well and the sales are amazing right now. I spent less than $50 on all of my purchase which is awesome, because if it weren't for the sales, I'm sure my bill would've been more than $50.

Don't forget to check out my Bath and Body Works Semi Annual Haul on Youtube as well!
